Our first festival - Blom Brand at Range & Wheels

Having an online clothing and accessories brand has its advantages and disadvantages. One of the disadvantages is that you don't have a physical location where you can showcase your product to strangers. That's why at Blom Brand, we've always been very clear about the need to attend festivals, fairs, and other events where we can showcase our work. Ultimately, seeing how people respond to your product is the best market research you can do.
The first festival we attended this year was Range & Wheels in Miraflores de la Sierra, Madrid. It's a festival organized by the Range and Wheels movement, which organizes events related to the Café Racer philosophy of motorsports .

The days leading up to the event were crazy. We created and sewed nonstop, trying to get to the event with as many accessories and garments as possible, not so much with the intention of selling them, but rather to show off what we're capable of. We slept three to four hours a day... absolutely crazy. But it was worth it.
The festival, which took place on May 11th from 12 a.m. to 12 p.m., featured café racer motorcycles, classic cars, music, food, and drinks. It was a perfect atmosphere to set up our stand and start asking people what they thought of our accessories.
One of the things we learned is that you have to be active. Many people pass by, "half-interested," and if you don't stop them by asking something like, "What do you think of our wallets?" they'll never stop.
Another thing we discovered during Range & Wheels is that people like knowing our accessories are handmade, sourced from Spanish suppliers, and made in the most responsible way possible. As we walked by, we'd say, "We make them by hand with fabrics and leathers from Spanish suppliers," and that helped us attract more and more people to stop by our stand.
Additionally, there were several people who bought their second time around. That is, after the first visit, they stopped, chatted with us, continued on their way through the festival, and it wasn't until the end that they returned to buy their handmade Blom Brand accessory.
Finally, the fair served as a small market research project. We confirmed that the Mini Wallets that work best are the black and burgundy ones. We learned that many girls think Mini Wallets are unfeminine and that our Nalu Bag is going to be all the rage this summer along the Spanish coast ^^.
In short, a great experience in which, despite the work and not selling much, you learn a lot about your product and the psychology of sales.
We'd like to thank the Range & Wheels organization for their hospitality and assistance throughout the event, as well as everyone who attended. We hope to be able to do it again next time.
